Description

Description

The proposed TA will provide project preparation support and capacity building for the Civil Aviation Development Investment Project (CADIP) III. The project is targeted for 2026 approval, subject to the project readiness and progress of CADIP II. The TA is aligned with the ADB's Strategy 2030 Vision for a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific. The TA will support Strategy 2030 operational priorities (OP), including OP1 (addressing remaining poverty and reducing inequalities), OP3 (tackling climate change, building climate and disaster resilience, and enhancing environmental sustainability), and OP6 (strengthening governance and institutional capacity).a The TA approach is suitable as it will help improve project readiness and avoid implementation delays by promptly meeting ADB's requirements on (i) consultant recruitment; (ii) procurement of civil works; (iii) safeguards implementation, monitoring, and reporting; (iv) other thematic areas, such as climate change, governance, and gender; and (iv) contract management and construction supervision.
