Presenting Italian EDEN destinations in thematic tourism fairs to operators and consumers

The idea is to create an Italian EDEN destinations showcase to promote beauty and quality of those little treasuries through national and international fairs. Those events will give the opportunity to create a direct link between Tour Operators and visitors from Italy and other markets selected. The assumptions involved are that small Italian EDEN destinations alone, one by one, are in trouble trying to promote themselves in fairs: economic troubles, in terms of organizations and know-how (e.g. how to manage a tourism fair, being in touch with market operators etc.). With this project, ENIT will give an opportunity, not only to present destinations, but to support them in presenting their lands and tourism resources/attractions, achieving: - increase visibility to Italian EDEN destinations; - spread Italian EDEN destinations promotional material in national/international tourism fairs; - match supply and offer through Italian EDEN destinations b2b contacts; - increase the number of fairs attended and square meters buyed and set up. The projects will aso give the opportunity to exchange best practices among EDEN destinations learned in fairs.
