Presenting the conflicts between economy and nature protection in a publication and on CD-ROM

Bokartisz Non-profit Organisation set the goal together with its partners, E-Mission Nature and Environmental Protection Society, Miskolc University and the Tavirózsák Nature Protection Association in Slovakia to popularise the natural assets of the environment. To achieve this, the co-operating partners prepared a colour publication in Hungarian and Slovakian presenting the natural assets of the Bodrogköz region and their ecological and economic importance. They compiled a multimedia CD-ROM for schools and farmer training courses presenting the conflicts between economy and nature protection. An open-air exhibition and a travelling exhibition were also organised to present this issue. The activities financed by the grant contributed significantly to the improvement in environmental awareness.
