Description

This application takes an intersectional approach and focuses on supporting, empowering and building the capacity of lesbian, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer women’s and non-binary persons’ civil society organizations (hereafter LBTIQ CSOs) active at local, regional and national levels in combating gender-based violence, domestic violence and other forms of violence against cis, trans and intersex women, and non-binary persons who self-identity as lesbian, bisexual and queer (hereafter LBTIQ women and non-binary persons), and championing EU values, thereby contributing to women’s full enjoyment of rights and equal empowerment of women in all their diversity, by providing financial support (re-granting) and by conducting knowledge and capacity building interventions for grassroots small and local LBTIQ CSOs, with the aim to make LBTIQ CSOs sustainable, strong and effective actors in preventing and combating gender based violence against LBTIQ women and non-binary persons.
