Description | Eurocare is the only alliance of national, pan-European and international NGOs working exclusively on EU policy analysis and advocacy linked to the reduction of alcohol related harm in Europe. Eurocare is a major partner to the WHO Regional Office for Europe (see letter of support in “Other Annexes” - Annex 5, as well as being the only Alcohol NGO organisation in the world with an official observer Status in Codex Alimentarius Commission, and has an exclusive track record regarding alcohol labelling and health warning (Leader in the Alhambra project Task 4 Tender). This application will therefore show how Eurocare is in a unique position, through its 2022 specific objectives explained in detail in this grant application, to directly support the objectives of the EU4Health Programme (recital 22 of Regulation (EU) 2021/522, the specific objectives defined in Article 4(a), (h) and (j), and the main objective of the call for proposal DP-g22-26.01). |
