Description | The Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Pipeline is a proposed pipeline project running from Hudson’s Hope to the proposed Ksi Lisims LNG floating natural gas liquefaction and export facility off the coast of Pearse Island north of Prince Rupert. The pipeline includes both land-based and marine sections, potentially up to 780 kilometres of land-based pipeline and 120 kilometres of twin marine pipelines. The project was first approved in 2014 and is currently under review with calls for a modern environmental assessment. It was sold in 2024 to the Nisga'a Nation and Western LNG, with major investors including Blackstone Inc. |
