Description	The project entails the privatization of Tekirdag Port, Marmara region in Turkey. The Port was privatized through transfer of the operational rights (TOR) model for 36 years. The tender method was “negotiated tender procedure” which involved collecting the bids in sealed envelopes by more than one bidder and conducting negotiations. The Turkey Maritime Organisation held the tender on 5 January 2018. Ceynak Lojistik ve Ticaret (Ceynak Logistics) is the private concessionaire. Ceynak won the tender by bidding TRY 347.1 million ($92.55 million), the highest bid, for the operating rights. The concession contract involved the development of a passenger port functionality. Raiffeisen Centrobank is financial adviser on the privatization. On December 10, 2019 EBRD provided a $ 17.5 million loan to the concessionaire.
