Proactif EU Drone and Robotics Surveillance Project

The Proactif initiative, funded by the European Union, aims to harness drones and robotics for monitoring and safeguarding essential infrastructure across Europe. The project involves 43 organizations from 13 countries and focuses on developing advanced drone platforms equipped with radar, lidar, and optical technologies for autonomous operations and enhanced situational awareness. It targets infrastructure such as power grids, railways, ports, and telecom assets, aiming to generate significant economic outcomes by 2035 including revenue, new products, patents, investments, and job creation.
