Description | Information Central University of Haryana has come up with Procurement of instrument for Central Instrumentation Centre with a ticket size of 76.49 INR Crores. This project in Education Infrastructure sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Idea Stage and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The Central University of Haryana has been successfully running the Central Instrumentation Centre since its establishment in 2020. A shared facility model has been adopted in running the facility whereby all the equipments is overseen by trained full-time faculty members who have dedicated themselves to train and help the users. Moreover, the university has also built up a resource sharing network with nearby institutes/ industries. The university is committed to increasing the availability of resources, extending the accessibility of resources, diminishing cost, and promoting optimum utilization of resources. The proposed instruments at Central Instrumentation Center have immense scope of use in analytical research and development in chemical sciences, physical sciences, biological sciences and engineering as well as other stake holders and industries. The facilities proposed in the application will help in promoting the R&D activities in the university and generating revenue through outsourcing the facility to nearby industries, MSME and academic institutions. The established facility will offer capacity building programmes, training programmes, and workshops to educate external scholars, students, academic and industry professionals. The set-up of this instrument facility in this remote area will benefit the community by enabling and strengthening the startup culture, supporting mid-to large-sized companies with capabilities and expertise available at the university. Hence, there is an urgent requirement of procurement of instrument for Central Instrumention Centre. |
