Description | The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) administers the Department of Defense (DoD) Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP). The purpose of the PTAP is to generate employment and to improve the general economy by assisting business firms in obtaining and performing under federal, state, and local government contracts. The PTAP is carried out by Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), which are established by eligible entities through Cooperative Agreements with DLA. Eligible Entity is defined in 10 U.S.C. Chapter 142, Section 2411. Opportunity Number DLA-AMD002-20121220 is a funding opportunity for the establishment of new PTACs to provide services in areas that are not covered by an existing program.
