pro_digital main aim is to become a one-stop shop for the ** twin digital and green transformation ** in the Brandenburg region. pro_digital will support and assist startups, SMEs and midcaps (in short SMEs) and governmental organisations (in short GOs) in their steps towards a higher digital maturity for a more resilient, sustainable, circular, regenerative, green economic growth. Brandenburg is a low-digitised, large, and sparsely populated area mostly characterised by rural activities and undergoing a considerable structural change driven by the implementation of the energy transition. Within this socio-economical context, pro_digital will offer knowledge, practical expertise and access to a broad variety of digital technologies to step up the digital maturity of the regional players within the framework of a twin digital and green growth along the “people-planet-prosperity” nexus with clear reference to the EU Industry 5.0 strategy. pro_digital will support the SMEs/GOs in enhancing their digital maturity; in improving their performance and competitiveness through a twin digital and green transformation; and will also support the development of a strong and cohesive regional innovation ecosystem. pro_digital will provide a portfolio of services for the target groups to access: 1) access to upskilling and re-skilling services for the regional workforce; 2) access to test before invest services, facilities and expertise; 3) access to information on public and private funding for digitalisation. Additionally, pro_digital will collaborate with specific, associated EDIHs located in the Baltic Sea Region, and offer stakeholders in Brandenburg knowledge and access to expertise and ecosystems in other European regions, and offer to stakeholders outside Brandenburg access to our regional ecosystem, players and expertise. pro_digital will also rely on and strengthen the pivotal role of the startups as facilitators and actors of the digital transformation in the region.
