Producing One-to-One Art Events and Sharing the Experiences

"In the ""proposed project Producing One-to-One Art Events and Sharing the Experiences"" we will organise different kinds of one-to-one art events in Oulu of Finland, Klanjec of Croatia and Lisbon of Portugal. The events will take place between 2024-2025. In all the events there are also activities for artists' peer support and sharing the experiences between the artists and the audience. In the project ""one-to-one art"" refers to works of art that are carried out to an audience of just one person at a time. One-to-one art can take the form of performances but other artforms are also included, for example visual or literal workshops that can be participated by one person at a time. The objectives and actions carried out to reach them are following: 1. Creating more working possibilities for artists: This objective is reached through co-curating versatile, high quality programmes for one-to-one events. Artists are given a possibility to take their work to project’s events in three countries. 2. Investigating the possibilities of one-to-one as an artform and creating inclusive contact with the audience: This objective is reached by creating a different framework for artworks in each event. In Oulu the works are taken to institutions in social & health-care. In Klanjec artists are offered a chance to work in a residency for a longer period of time and present their work-in-progress to people in a city space. In Lisbon the one-to-one event will take the form of an immersive theatre show in an out-of-use hospital. 3. Creating networks and disseminating experiences: A long standing internet site collecting information of organisations & artists practising one-to-one art around Europe will be established. A one-to-one symposium gathering together artist & social and healthcare professionals will be held in Oulu and streamed into the internet. A podcast-series, a guide leaflet and a book will be published to disseminate the experiences gathered during the project. "
