Description
Description | The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement is to strengthen the management and administration of global (for more than one country) and country-led PPPs under PEPFAR. Under the current award, recipients provide technical assistance (TA) support and management oversight and administration to three country-led PPPs. The Applicant will also support the Pink Ribbon / Red Ribbon PPP in Ethiopia; the Data for Accountability, Transparency and Impact (DATIM) partnership in over 50 countries and the MTV Shuga partnership in South Africa. The private sector stakeholders include health and non-health care specialty areas such as: laboratory equipment manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, information systems, and entertainment. The awardee for this FOA will have primary responsibility for managing, accounting for, and disbursing these public and private sector resources available to each respective PPP. The awardee will also have responsibility for assisting participating PEPFAR countries to maintain and expand current partnerships, as well as in the identification of private sector partners that enhance country ownership and shared responsibility. The awardee will support reporting and evaluation of private sector engagement to assess impact and share lessons learned. Depending on the complexity of the PPP, the awardee may be required to maintain a limited in-country presence. |
