Program Implementation Alternative Commercial and Labor Dispute Resolution

The general objective of the program is to improve conditions for the development of private economic activity by creating a climate of confidence, transparency, and security in the resolution of commercial disputes.To achieve these objectives, the program will include the following four components: (i) creation of an Alternative Dispute Resolution Center in Managua Chamber of Commerce; (ii) training arbitrators, conciliators and the administrative personnel in order to adjust their technical and administrative capacity to the institutional needs of the center that would be created; and (iii) disseminate information on the range and advantages of ADR mechanisms for settling business disputes, in order to promote demand in the private sector in the short and medium term, and (iv) a monitoring and evaluation system.
