Within the Greater Region there are 3 faculties of Medicine and many validating hospitals and yet there is no coordinated cross-border collaboration in the training of young doctors. Yet such access would significantly complement and improve the quality of training and increase the visibility of GR in medicine. Finally, such additional training would facilitate access to cross-border employment in the GR by several levers: these joint training courses and modules would contribute to the development of networks of both trainers and learners (b) Joint training pathways would facilitate communication, management and cross-border exchangesc) They would thus pave the way for exchanges of interns/residents between the health actors of the GRLE NHLChirEx programme based on modern and innovative pedagogical methods and without direct patient involvement.
