The module supports the state-owned energy supplier PT PLN in successfully shaping and accelerating the energy transition in Indonesia. The aim of the module is to expand and strengthen the human and technical capacities of the only vertically integrated energy supplier in Indonesia in two focus areas: 1) PLN is supported in the institutionalization of environmental and social management in accordance with international standards 2) The expansion of technical and human capacities with a view to geothermal projects is accelerated. The main target group of the module are PLN employees working in the two focus areas. Their capacities are to be sustainably strengthened through training, on-the-job training, etc. To this end, we work closely with PLN's own university. Furthermore, synergies and points of contact with (measures) of other donors are expected and pursued, particularly in the area of environmental and social standards.
