Description | Project 200 is a generational investment by the University of Oklahoma in research, talent, and infrastructure aimed at strengthening the health of Oklahomans, growing the state's economy, and expanding future opportunities. The initiative plans to recruit about 200 world-renowned researchers focused on key areas such as health outcomes, clinical trials, storm forecasting, national security, energy production, and workforce development. It is expected to generate nearly $100 million annually in federal research funding by 2032, support over 2,000 new jobs, and produce $95 million in new state and local tax revenue over the next decade. |
