The project involves seven central banks and more than 40 regulated financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions. It uses a two-layer blockchain architecture to enable atomic settlement, reduce credit and settlement risk, and operate around the clock, enhancing transparency and allowing simultaneous AML, sanctions, and fraud screening. |
