Description | Project Beacon is a planned commercial demonstration facility at Aster Pulau Bukom refinery in Singapore. It aims to be the first next-generation, commercial-scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production facility in Southeast Asia, using Aether Aurora technology to convert industrial waste gas and biomethane into CORSIA-certified SAF. The facility is designed to produce up to 50 barrels of fuel per day (approximately 2,000 tonnes per year) with lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions reductions exceeding 70% compared to conventional jet fuel. |
