Project Blue is a large data center development project in Tucson, Arizona, involving the construction of a massive data center complex. The project includes multiple phases, with the first phase involving the purchase of 290 acres of public land near the Pima County Fairgrounds. The project is expected to involve $3.6 billion in total capital investment, create 3,000 construction jobs from 2026 through 2028, and 180 full-time permanent jobs by 2029. The developer, Beale Infrastructure, has committed to using 100% renewable energy for the data center and contributing $15 million in community donations, including $5 million for scholarships and $10 million for other community-focused donations.
