Description	Project Blue was a planned data center facility near the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona. The project was led by developer Beale Infrastructure and initially showed interest from Amazon as an end user. The project faced strong opposition due to concerns about water and power use, leading to changes in the design from water-cooled to air-cooled and a commitment to renewable energy sources. However, Amazon pulled out of the project, and the city of Tucson voted to end it. There are indications that other companies may take over the project or develop a similar facility in nearby Marana.
