Project Blue is a proposed data center in unincorporated Pima County near Tucson, Arizona. The project involves constructing a 290-acre data center campus in three phases, with an initial investment of $1.2 billion over three years starting in 2026. The data center will use 286 megawatts of power initially, eventually increasing to 400-600 megawatts. The developer, Beale Infrastructure, has committed to matching 100% of the data center's energy use with renewable energy and plans to accelerate the creation of renewable energy resources to meet the data center's consumption. The project also includes community investments such as a $5 million scholarship fund and $10 million for future community benefit projects.
