Description
Description | Project Blue is a massive data center development by Beale Infrastructure near Tucson, Arizona. Initially planned to be water-cooled using reclaimed water from the city, the project faced community opposition due to concerns about water, power, and resource usage. After Tucson city leaders rejected the project, Beale Infrastructure obtained zoning from Pima County and decided to build the data center with an air-cooling system instead of water cooling. Despite the change, a contractor working on the construction was found using Tucson city water without proper authorization, leading to the revocation of the water permit by the city. |
