Description | Project Blue is a large-scale data center project on 290 acres of land on Tucson's Southeast Side. The project involves the development of a complex of cloud computers with a phased build-out, including a first phase with site and building permit applications submitted. The project has shifted from a water-cooled system to an advanced air-cooled system due to public opposition and city council decisions. The developers have committed to using 100% renewable energy and contributing $15 million in community donations over the life of the project. |
