Description | Project Douro is a 150MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant located in Tarouca, northern Portugal. It is the largest European plant of Sonnedix to date. The project is planned to be hybridised with a battery energy storage system (BESS) and wind power using the connection point at the Valdigem substation, aligning with Sonnedix's strategy to offer customised renewable energy solutions. The project has secured a 10-year pay-as-produced power purchase agreement (PPA) with digital infrastructure firm Equinix. |
