It includes 700 kilometres of new transmission lines, one of the largest substations in the Southern Hemisphere at Buronga, expansion of the Wagga Wagga substation, and a new substation at Dinawan near Bundure, NSW. The project aims to unlock renewable energy resources in south-west NSW and provide grid security to help South Australia reach 100% net renewables by 2027. |
