The project aims to secure the world's most critical software by using AI capabilities to identify and fix security vulnerabilities across hardware and software at an unprecedented pace and scale. Anthropic committed up to USD 100 million in usage credits for the Mythos Preview AI model to support the project and 40 additional organizations. The initiative focuses on defensive purposes such as local vulnerability detection and penetration testing to prevent cyber threats before they can be exploited by unsafe actors. |
