Project Jupiter Data Center

Project Jupiter is a proposed 3-million-square-foot hyperscale data center in Southern New Mexico by Oracle Corporation. The project initially planned to use natural gas to fuel its microgrids but later changed to natural gas powered fuel cells. It aims to use a closed loop cooling system to reduce water consumption, with an initial fill of 2 million gallons of water. The project has generated controversy due to its environmental impact and fraudulent public comments submitted in support of it.
