Project Kuiper Satellite Internet Initiative

Under Construction

Project Kuiper is a constellation of more than 3,200 low Earth orbit satellites that will provide high-speed internet to underserved communities worldwide. Amazon is developing aerospace talent from its front-line workforce through a specialized six-month satellite technician certification program in partnership with Lake Washington Institute of Technology. The program covers aerospace assembly, electronics manufacturing, fiber optics, avionics wiring, and more, and supports the ramp-up of manufacturing operations in Washington with satellites being shipped to Cape Canaveral for launch.
