Description | EnergyX has launched the first US direct lithium extraction plant in Texas, capable of producing approximately 250 metric tons per year of lithium carbonate equivalent. The demonstration plant validates EnergyX's proprietary direct lithium extraction technology and refining technologies under industrial conditions. The facility is located in the Smackover formation in Texas and is the first DLE facility in the state to process locally sourced brine. EnergyX invested $30 million into the demonstration plant and plans a commercial plant with over a $1 billion investment. |
