The project includes three buildings and is expected to attract tenants capable of employing up to 2,000 workers. The development faced initial rezoning denial, followed by a lawsuit and eventual approval. A $9.3 million property tax break was preliminarily approved to support the project, which includes off-site environmental improvements and a reduction in project size to protect environmental stream buffers. The project is expected to generate more than $24 million in new taxes over a 10-year period after accounting for tax savings. |
