Description | Fermi's flagship Project Matador aims to integrate the country's biggest combined-cycle natural gas project, one of the largest clean, new nuclear power complexes in America, utility grid power, solar power, and battery energy storage to deliver hyperscaler artificial intelligence. The initiative has secured equipment and infrastructure for more than 2 GW of planned power-generating capacity, obtained a 6-GW Clean Air Act permit, and achieved acceptance by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the nation's first large-scale nuclear Combined Operating License (COL) application in 15 years. The company has completed the initial phase of horizontal construction and sealed more than USD 1 billion of financing deals. |
