The IFC’s Advisory engagement with Enyimba Economic City Development Company Limited (“EECD” or the “Client”) is structured to be implemented in two (2) distinct stages. In the first phase, IFC will advise the Client on how best to structure a manufacturing Special Economic Zone (“SEZ”) to attract private sector capital. Upon the Client’s acceptance of IFC’s recommendations, especially on environmental and social (E&S) matters, IFC will proceed to the second phase, which involves introducing and connecting the Client to suitable foreign anchor tenants (industrial companies/strategic investors) who will setup manufacturing operations within the zone. Taken together, these two phases constitute the IFC Advisory Project (the “Project”).
