Description | Project NorthStar is Gevo's alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) fuel project aiming to produce synthetic aviation fuel and carbon attributes. The company has completed Front-End Loading (FEL) stage 2 engineering and is on track to complete FEL 3 to refine capital cost estimates. The project financing process with the DOE was exited due to new requirements, and multiple nonbinding private lender indications of interest have been received. The company targets non-dilutive project-level debt and strategic capital with financing goal by the end of 2026. Approximately 50% of financeable long-term offtake contracts are secured, with the remainder at term sheet stage. The project is expected to deliver approximately $150 million of adjusted EBITDA per year upon commissioning. |
