Description | Project Pragati is a sustainability initiative co-led by Jayant Agro-Organics Limited along with Arkema, BASF, and Solidaridad. It focuses on transforming India's castor ecosystem into a benchmark for responsible agriculture by promoting sustainable and traceable castor supply chains. The project has certified over 13,500 farmers and brought more than 16,000 hectares under responsible cultivation, yielding approximately 170,000 tons of certified castor seeds. It emphasizes productivity gains, water conservation, farmer capability building, and women empowerment in agriculture. |
