Context: Sicily and the entire territory of Malta are characterized by a profound tourist-cultural vocation. In particular, tourism can represent a catalyst element being able to positively insert in the process of the economic-productive development of the Mediterranean Islands. The presence of resources is an evident intuition that requires an articulated meeting through an ideal action of research to be able to obtain a map of the territory in order to determine with scientific strictness the tourist needs and the areas that are able to be evaluated for tourism. Aims: The main objectives pursued by the project are: Defining an innovative and shared common methodology for mapping of tourist relational integrated Mediterranean and the Mediterranean islands in particular; Awareness of the protagonists decision making process of tourism development, cultural heritage, the environment and the territory to issues of sustainable tourism and tourism in particular relational; Forming new tourism operators relational integrated; Promoting the Plan of Research and Development of Relational Integrated Tourism Malta-Sicily; The awareness of stakeholders on Plan for Research and Development of Relational Integrated Tourism Malta-Sicily.
