Description | Project SANGAM is an initiative by the Delhi Traffic Police under the guidance of Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu to ease congestion across several key stretches in Delhi, including the UER-II corridor in Dwarka, Sundar Nursery–Neela Gumbad stretch, Mehram Nagar near IGI Airport, Chandni Chowk, and West Patel Nagar. The project includes interventions such as 13 free left turns in UER-II corridor, four planned foot overbridges, engineering redesign at Elephant Chowk, peak-hour restrictions, traffic diversion, removal of unauthorized vending and parking, installation of CCTV cameras, and enforcement measures including challans and awareness campaigns. |
