Project Tango is a proposed hyperscale AI data center in Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County. The project involves a five-year construction plan costing $2 billion, aiming to create 1,700 construction jobs and 500 to 600 permanent jobs. The plan includes expanding data center buildings from just over 1 million to 1.5 million square feet and relocating cooling equipment to reduce noise. The site was previously approved in 2016 for data center and warehouse space, and the current proposal seeks to modify and expand that plan.
