Project Tango is a proposed hyperscale data center project by PBA Holdings in the Central Park Commerce Center off Southern Boulevard, near the Arden residential community and Saddle View Elementary School in Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County. The data center would support artificial intelligence workloads on a hyperscale, housing thousands of servers and specialized hardware, and would be the first of this scale in the county. The project has faced significant opposition from local residents and community leaders due to concerns about noise, health, quality of life, and potential increases in electricity and water costs. The county Zoning Commission unanimously recommended against the project in a 6-0 vote on July 2, 2026, despite staff recommendations to move forward. The final decision will be made by the Palm Beach County commissioners on July 15, 2026.
