Description | Project Taurus is a proposed data center to be built by Raeden, a California-based real estate and technology firm, at a former Intel microchip manufacturing plant located at 1565 High Tech Way in Colorado Springs. The data center will require nearly 50 megawatts of power and will use a closed-loop cooling system to mitigate water consumption. The developer is required to sign a 10-year contract with Colorado Springs Utilities and provide 36 months of collateral to protect the city's interests. Noise levels will remain within allowable limits. |
