Description | Project Trident is a trilateral initiative involving Greece, the US, and South Korea to transform the western Attica port of Elefsina into a major regional hub for shipbuilding, logistics, and defense manufacturing. The €1.35 billion investment program aims to upgrade shipbuilding infrastructure, expand port and logistics facilities, and develop advanced industrial capabilities to support naval and defense programs. The project is planned to unfold in three phases, including expanding ship repair capacity, upgrading port infrastructure, and introducing advanced industrial equipment for submarine-related programs. |
