Project Vault is the United States' most significant domestic critical minerals policy in the last decade, establishing a US$ 12 billion public-private reserve to act as industrial insurance against supply chain disruptions. It includes all 60 minerals on the US Geological Survey’s 2025 Critical Minerals List and involves major manufacturers and financing from the US Export-Import Bank.
