Description | Prometheus Hyperscale plans to build a massive 1.2 gigawatt data center campus on family-owned ranch land near the Silver Eagle refinery east of Evanston, Wyoming. The project aims to innovate water cooling systems for sustainability and improve the local economy by creating 200 long-term jobs with competitive wages and benefits. The data center will use a closed-loop liquid cooling system with propylene glycol mixture and a fully off-grid power strategy based on on-site natural gas generation. Construction is expected to begin within six to nine months, with operations starting in 2027. |
