Description | Prometheus Hyperscale plans to build a massive 1.25-gigawatt, 500-acre, off-grid data center campus on the Thornock family ranch in Uinta County. The project features a closed-loop cooling system, onsite power generation independent of the public grid, and aims to be environmentally responsible. The buildout will occur over five phases, covering roughly eight to nine football fields of building space, with water usage equivalent to about 15 homes. The project promises 3,800 temporary construction jobs and 200 long-term skilled positions once operational. |
