The aim of the FRUGAL project is to create a network to transform losses, surplus and unsold in the Greater Region, resulting from production and distribution on the basis of a circular economy concept. The project is mainly aimed at producers and distributors, they will rely on a central exchange in the Greater Region. This cross-border power plant will be used to supply local processors with appropriate logistics. These transformers have the appropriate dimension to transform losses, surplus and unsold, which can be made available on the plant. The project must ensure economic viability for the entire process. In order to quickly reach a critical threshold of operation, the actors will be accompanied to the change by a sociologist specialised in supporting the change of use. The perimeter of the project will be that of the Greater Region.
