Promotion of municipal investments in energy efficiency and environmental measures (IKLU) (ZV)

The aim of the project to promote municipal investments in energy efficiency and environmental measures in Serbia (KOM-EEUM) is to support the broad-based and sustainable introduction of a financing instrument in the Serbian banking sector to promote energy savings in Serbian municipalities and public service companies, so-called Public Utility Companies (PUCs) (the aim of the FC measure). The introduction of such a financing instrument will contribute to deepening and broadening the Serbian financial system (overall objective 1). In addition, reducing energy consumption will contribute to climate protection (overall objective 2). The target groups are municipalities and public service companies (PUCs) in Serbia; the intermediaries are selected Serbian financial institutions.
