Description | Since the beginning of the Russian attack on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, almost a quarter of the total Ukrainian population has been on the run. As a follow-up project to USIF VI, USIF IX, implemented as an expedited procedure in accordance with Section 47 of the TZ/FZ guidelines, addresses the particular urgency of expanding social infrastructure to mitigate the effects of war. The focus is on adequate accommodation for internally displaced persons (IDPs) by providing shelter. Grant funds amounting to EUR 24.2 million are to be used for this purpose. The recipient of the funds is the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
