Description | For several years, the demand for traditional and quality products has been growing in Europe. This trend is reinforced by the growing concern for health, safety and food quality. GUSAPIR aims to promote the development of a quality agri-food sector by promoting local and traditional production in the participating regions. Through joint and cross-border actions, the project contributes to transmitting this image of tradition and enhancing regional quality specialities. It is a driving force for the Pyrenean territory to preserve the cultural and gastronomic heritage. The current dossier is an adapted version of the GUSAPIR EFA 243/11 project presented in 2011, which had received a "favourable opinion". In the other parts of the dossier, we explain in more detail the context and the reason for the presentation of this new dossier for this 3rd call for projects. |
