Proposed Data Center by Cielo Digital Infrastructure

planned

Texas-based Cielo Digital Infrastructure has proposed building a data center near State Road 544 East and Marion Road in Haines City, Florida. The company requested a daily water capacity of 150,000 gallons for the facility. However, Haines City officials state that the city does not currently have sufficient permitted water capacity to support this request. The city has been pursuing a modification to its Water Use Permit with the Southwest Florida Water Management District since June 2022 to address water demands due to growth. No formal development applications have been received by the city related to this project, and the project remains on hold pending water capacity approval.
