Marie: the city's Great Northern Road snow dump, McQueen Street, and Brandes Pit. The projects aimed to create 9.95 MW of natural gas energy capacity, generate about 20 construction jobs and five ongoing maintenance jobs, and provide approximately $3 million in community benefits over 20 years. The projects were to be submitted to the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) under its request for proposal for new electricity supply and storage projects to ensure sufficient electricity supply beyond 2030. |
